First, many things that we have chosen are very similar to other items or the item is one in a set of multiples. Because of this it is very important that you verify that the SKU (Barcode number) of the item matches what is listed on the registry. If you need assistance with this, the stores have assured us you can ask for help and they'll be plenty happy to verify the correct item was chosen. This mostly applies to art-type items. Of course, if you shop online, this doesn't really apply as our registry will link you to the right item!
Second, when you go to the store and print out the list, feel free to use it as a guide of what has and has not been chosen already. However, please do not take this list with you out of the store! Print it at the store, and throw it away there too. The reason for this is that the list you have printed becomes outdated as soon as anyone purchases anything on it. This is to try to cut down on duplicates as much as possible.
You will find that the majority of the items we registered for are at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. Our Macy's registry is rather short, but we love the items listed on it anyway!
